Anya Romanoff (b.2002, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia),

is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Saint Petersburg. She began working with plasticine in early childhood and never stopped creating since. Her practice spans oil painting, sculpture, textile work, and video editing.

After graduating from high school in 2021, she pursued studies in Romance languages at Saint Petersburg University. During this time, her commitment to art deepened, leading her to take classes at a local academic atelier. Today, she works as a full-time artist.

Romanoff’s works often explore themes of tenderness, memory, and surreal intimacy. She draws inspiration from magical realism, personal mythology, and the aesthetic of old animation.

She is currently focused on oil painting and sculptural installation, while continuing to experiment with textiles and handmade forms. Jewelry-making is her next frontier.
